Coloring is configured on the 3d
color page of the VIEWAVERAGE section of the "configure-study"-dialog.
A little more direct, coloring options are available from the
context menu opened on the mapper docking window.
There are
different 5 render modes available (areas
with
contour, smooth transitions, areas without contour, coloured
wireframe, wireframe) and a set of colormaps applicable
for each mode (jet, galaxy, hot,
winter, sahara, gray, bone and
significance). Finally there are 5 modes for the mapping of
signal values to colors (N colors,
Color by amplitude, P value mapping, T value mapping, and F value
mapping), the last three of which are optimized for the display
of statistical results and are activated and described with the 3d stats page in the statistical coloring section.
The standard coloring modes (N
colors and Color by amplitude)
translate
the amplitude range set on the navigator dock widget to
colors of the selected colormap.
