3d graphs are created in the "mapper" docking window and collected
on the "3d view" tab of the main window. Both steps are initiated from
the format 3d extended
toolbar: activating the mapper (head with a green light) causes EMEGS
(Qt version) to calculate the spherical spline interpolation of the
loaded signals to fill the areas between the sensor positions on the
head model with interpolated values. As this calculation depends on the
current timing parameters (baseline settings, intervals, interval mean
status), the controls for adjusting these parameters are deactivated
while the mapper is active. Only the slider setting the currently
displayed interval/time point remains active and can be used to
"scroll" through the active signal (please note that on windows, this
is considerably slower than on unix type operating system, because the
linear algebra library is currently not well optimized for windows).
The collection of time
points on the three 3d view tab is started by hitting one the 4 plot
format buttons: 2 display types (single &
multiple) can be created both for only the active signal (no
annotation) or for all loaded datasets (1., 2.).
